The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Årjäng today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant Killer Moussolou was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Modest Jewel was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




African Sky quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Green Curry was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




African Sky was still in the lead after 1500m.




African Sky didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Giant Killer Moussolou was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Diamond Ring suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






African Sky won the race after a spectacular finish.
