The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jarlsberg this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Piekfijn could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Funky Vixen sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Purple Wardrobe looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Univers Love galloped for 50 m.



Purple Wardrobe kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Purple Wardrobe today who won before Funky Vixen and Piekfijn.
