One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Flower Glitter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Charlotte saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Restoux looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Flower Glitter couldn't come out from behind the leader, Charlotte. Flower Glitter suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Charlotte today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Flower Glitter gallopped for 40 m. Charlotte kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. With only a little left of the race Charlotte galoped for 30 m. Flower Glitter was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Charlotte sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Charlotte didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
