The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kauhava this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rammer found a gap and took the lead. Honoré followed before African Trapdoor Spider.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Loving Blast who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Rammer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rammer followed by African Trapdoor Spider and Loving Blast. Lane two Honoré followed by Altid Jeres and .



With only a little left of the race Altid Jeres galoped for 20 m. Honoré speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Rammer never caught up with Honoré who won. African Trapdoor Spider came third.
