One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quilly Du Marais could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader got disturbed by something and Citizen Kinkladze took the lead rather easily.




Dicht Bij Perfectie looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Dicht Bij Perfectie were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Dicht Bij Perfectie kept the speed the whole finish and won before Quilly Du Marais and Citizen Kinkladze.
