One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Backstabbing Sugar could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Backstabbing Sugar started to galop and lost 20 m. Urban quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Backstabbing Sugar galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Mr Plura looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shooting Sound couldn't come out from behind the leader, Urban.
