Fastest of them all were Kuningatar Z. Spijk Z ended up behind the leader. Gonzo Bill got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. This is the positions after 500m. Hanna Oxzygo, Portion Of That, Speeding Moon, Spijk Z, Gonzo Bill, Flickering Trap, Kuningatar Z, Sheringham The Man. Portion Of That looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Speeding Moon couldn't come out from behind the leader, Hanna Oxzygo. Spijk Z was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.
