One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Screaming Legend. Flying Thinking ended up behind the leader. Electric Temptress got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Colbert started to galop and lost 10 m. Screaming Legend was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Flying Thinking looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Flying Thinking were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Screaming Legend started to galopp and lost 20 m. Electric Temptress won. Flying Thinking came in second. Colbert caught third place.
