It had been raining for several days at Kajaani but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Golden Jewel found a gap and took the lead. Gonzo Divine followed before Jumping Maid. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Européen sprinted to the front. Wild Galaxy sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Sýkorová suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Golden Jewel saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Jumping Maid gallopped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Pointing Thinker to trotting so they were disqualified. Golden Jewel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Européen won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
