Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halsua track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Counterfeit Winter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Tomato Soup was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Gold See You Later galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tomato Soup followed by Counterfeit Winter and Fanchone. Lane two Screaming Folder followed by Anna Montana and Gold See You Later.




Screaming Folder was still in the lead after 2000m.



Screaming Folder were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Anna Montana. Counterfeit Winter came in second. Screaming Folder became third.
