One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Carlos Dusty could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Castafiore galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Everitts Second Law saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Gaul Lady Lore was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Athletic Lizard sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Silver Wish was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Athletic Lizard was still in the lead after 1500m.

Advanced Boulder was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Gaul Lady Lore suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Carlos Dusty sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
