It had been raining for several days at Vieremä but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sturer Emil could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Just Rock sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Flying Bullet looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Just Rock speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Just Rock. Sturer Emil came in second. Flying Bullet became third.
