The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Kalas Pegasos sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Augusta On Fire sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Double Bogey On Fire who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Charmed Cake who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Originál Vysoký sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Originál Vysoký followed by Duff On Fire and Crossing Midnight. Lane two Eagle On Fire followed by Mr Heureux and Kalas Pegasos. Double Bogey On Fire started to gallop after 1500m and David Miller had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Originál Vysoký were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Eagle On Fire sprinted over the finishline before Duff On Fire and Kalas Pegasos.
