One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Nightingale Hof tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Backstabbing Velvet that came steaming ahead. Stefan Persson wanted a little to much in the start and Striking Ballerina galoped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Bright Red, Striking Ballerina, Falling Drama, Volvoette, Nairobi Superior, Benzema The Man, Scarlet Sapphire, Pretoria Superior.

The leader got disturbed by something and Striking Ballerina took the lead rather easily. Scarlet Sapphire galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Pretoria Superior won the race after a spectacular finish.
