One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starshine Passion tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Midkiff that came steaming ahead. Valerie was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Strong Agent, Valerie, Starshine Passion, Black Adder, Lying Winter, Midkiff, , .




Strong Agent clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Starshine Passion to trotting so they were disqualified.




Valerie accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Valerie kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Valerie today who won before Lying Winter and Midkiff.
