The weather had been good all week and Jägersro was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Derby Winner Pegasos. Desthieux ended up behind the leader. Citizen Yaya got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Citizen Yaya sprinted to the front. Inkas Fortochfel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Derby Winner Pegasos looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Desthieux couldn't come out from behind the leader, Citizen Yaya.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Citizen Yaya today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Desthieux gallopped for 40 m.



Citizen Yaya kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Desthieux sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
