One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stifling Diary was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Flickering Bouquet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sophisticated Dancer couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stifling Diary. Sophisticated Dancer galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Stifling Diary today. It continued in the lead.




Stifling Diary was still in the lead after 2000m.



Stifling Diary kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Stifling Diary kept the speed the whole finish and won before Flickering Bouquet and Sophisticated Dancer.
