One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sunday Maid. Rangoon ended up behind the leader. Magic Lilac got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Sunday Maid suddenly started to galop. Antti Teivainen had to struggle to get Sunday Maid to tror again and succeded after 40 m. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Flickering Wonder sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Flickering Wonder was still in the lead after 1500m. Flickering Wonder kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Magic Lilac speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. No-one could catch Magic Lilac today who won before Flickering Wonder and Rangoon. Results
