Only a humble breeze blew over Åmål this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pampered Dream tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Orgullo De Su that came steaming ahead.




Orgullo De Su was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Orgullo De Su who started to galop and lost 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Shy Angel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Orgullo De Su today. It continued in the lead.




Orgullo De Su sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Orgullo De Su looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pampered Dream won the race after a spectacular finish.
