One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Thinker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Crossing Maid started to galop and lost 50 m. Ulf Ohlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Guichelaar galoped for 40 m.




Crossing Maid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Magic Lilac took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Magic Lilac today. It continued in the lead.



Directeur X speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Crossing Maid showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Guichelaar won the race after a spectacular finish.
