It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Fair Lemon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Mad Pony quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Rosaria started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Grimsåsexpressen Cherry took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Grimsåsexpressen Cherry followed by Mad Pony and The Superman. Lane two Whispering Trap followed by Strong Architecture and Fair Lemon.



Grimsåsexpressen Cherry sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Rosaria galop. Rosaria lost 40 m.




Grimsåsexpressen Cherry kept the speed the whole finish and won before Whispering Trap and Giunchi.
