One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Delberghe tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Magic Nutcracker that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Dianthus Fragrans started to galop and lost 40 m.




Magic Nutcracker was in fine shape and held the lead.




Dianthus Fragrans took the lead after 1000m. Delberghe didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Dianthus Fragrans today. It continued in the lead.



Dianthus Fragrans sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Magic Nutcracker sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
