Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Decisive Mustache. Prince Cash ended up behind the leader. Wereld got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Just Wait quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Decisive Mustache started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Tapenade By Olive Cherry who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Double Skills looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Prince Cash couldn't come out from behind the leader, Just Wait. Tapenade By Olive Cherry galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Just Wait followed by Double Skills and Prince Cash. Lane two Bantling Boy Ameste followed by Catty Lore and Wereld. Decisive Mustache galloped for 10 m.

Just Wait sat safely in the lead after 2000m. driver couldn't keep Decisive Mustache to trotting so they were disqualified.

Just Wait kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Double Skills sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
