The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kannus today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Icecold Mind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Reventon Rebel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Ren Slik quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Ren Slik started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ren Slik followed by Icecold Mind and Ojsan En I Mängden. Lane two Criminal Ladybugg followed by Zorro Opal and Reventon Rebel.



Ren Slik sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Ren Slik didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
