One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Helen Burns tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Slippery Angel that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Walking Rocket sprinted to the front. Cherrelle started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Glorious Vanilla took the lead after 1000m. Walking Rocket didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Glorious Vanilla today. It continued in the lead.



Cherrelle was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Glorious Vanilla looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Red Viper, 2 Slippery Angel, 3 Helen Burns.
