The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Steel Judge was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Red Sapphire sprinted to the front.

Cencio looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ivory Breeze couldn't come out from behind the leader, Red Sapphire.

Cencio saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Cencio sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Red Sapphire sprinted over the finishline before Chef and Breaking Box.
