The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were L'Étoile Mystérieuse. Caribou Moussolou ended up behind the leader. Brave Trooper got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Caribou Moussolou quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. L'Étoile Mystérieuse started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Caribou Moussolou started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and L'Étoile Mystérieuse took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one L'Étoile Mystérieuse followed by Caribou Moussolou and Giant Power. Lane two Sergeant Ameste followed by Brave Trooper and Lonely Diamond.




L'Étoile Mystérieuse was still in the lead after 2000m.



L'Étoile Mystérieuse sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






L'Étoile Mystérieuse didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
