Only a humble breeze blew over Eskilstuna this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grasping Stardust could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Grasping Stardust was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Cocktail was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Tranquil Thought took the lead rather easily. Marrit suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Tranquil Thought was still in the lead after 1500m. Marrit galloped for 50 m.




Grasping Stardust put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Grasping Stardust looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Cocktail won. Grasping Stardust came in second. Travelling Star caught third place.
