The sun was shining on Hoting today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Portable Lion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Surrey Opal saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Surrey Opal today. It continued in the lead.



Portable Lion was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Surrey Opal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Surrey Opal kept the speed the whole finish and won before Portable Lion and D Bitch.
