One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Comfortable Momentum could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Tough Behemoth saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Woodbine galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Comfortable Momentum looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that King Gallant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tough Behemoth.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tough Behemoth followed by King Gallant and Vipo. Lane two Comfortable Momentum followed by Red Horizon and Trembling Jewel.




Comfortable Momentum took the lead.



Tough Behemoth speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Tough Behemoth today who won before Comfortable Momentum and Red Horizon.
