The sun was shining on Halmstad today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Barefoot Thought found a gap and took the lead. Nessla Fony Pony followed before Smiling Drama. Dan Widegren wanted a little to much in the start and Overdækket galoped for 40 m.

Femke saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Adorable Nugget who started to galop and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Rainbow Lipstick to trotting so they were disqualified. Femke started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Overdækket sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Smiling Drama sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Winner of todays race was Smiling Drama. Overdækket came in second. Femke became third.
