The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Halmstad today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Madame Lily was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Old Printer was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Kvarngärdets Lycra quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Old Printer took the lead after 1000m. Kvarngärdets Lycra didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Old Printer today. It continued in the lead.



Malkin Lion was first on the homestretch followed by Resplendet Caviar and Madame Lily.






Madame Lily sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
