Soda Popinski sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Pietro Gubellini wanted a little to much in the start and Ghostly Wonder galoped for 20 m. Quasimodo Hof was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Giant Enemy sprinted to the front.

Woltmans Law took the lead after 1000m. Universal Law didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Universal Law looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Woltmans Law took the lead.

Universal Law speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
