The weather had been good all week and Bollnäs was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Cloro Vox found a gap and took the lead. Koukalová followed before Sleeping Girl. Korkein Kana suddenly started to galop. Peter Untersteiner had to struggle to get Korkein Kana to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Paul quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Woltmans Law was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Flying Titan looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sleeping Girl couldn't come out from behind the leader, Paul. Woltmans Law was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
