One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cateline could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Lightning Mary quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Lightning Mary was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Next Color galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Cateline accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Hollowina started to gallop after 1500m and Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Cateline kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Cateline didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
