One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Held could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Carlos Held suddenly started to galop. Teemu Okkolin had to struggle to get Carlos Held to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Rise Up accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Caldwell suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Unusual Taboca galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Rise Up made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Caldwell.
