One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Madame sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Rocking Gentleman started to galop and lost 40 m.




Stretching Madame was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Rutherford Hof looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rocking Gentleman couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stretching Madame.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stretching Madame followed by Rocking Gentleman and . Lane two Rutherford Hof followed by Gold Adorable Starlight and . Something caused a disturbance in the field and Stretching Madame gallopped for 20 m.



Stretching Madame showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Rutherford Hof speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Rocking Gentleman never caught up with Rutherford Hof who won. Gold Adorable Starlight came third.
