One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lucky Sunflower was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Drooling Gentleman looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Whatever Duchess couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lucky Sunflower.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lucky Sunflower followed by Modest Sunset and Whatever Duchess. Lane two Drooling Gentleman followed by Blown Away and Speedy Stone.




Lucky Sunflower sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Blown Away gallopped 50 m after 2000m.



Lucky Sunflower sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jan Norberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Blown Away started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Lucky Sunflower never caught up with Drooling Gentleman who won. Modest Sunset came third.
