The weather had been good all week and Jägersro was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

De Gea The Man could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Viking Of Denmark started to galop and lost 30 m.

Viking Of Denmark saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of York Kemp who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Swinging Passion sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Close Star was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Viking Of Denmark galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Swinging Passion today. It continued in the lead.

Quilly Du Marais speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Quilly Du Marais didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
