One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rolling Sky took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Slippery Band took the lead after 1000m. Down Under didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Close To Me galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Down Under looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Slippery Band galloped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race Slippery Band galoped for 30 m. Down Under sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Slippery Band never caught up with Down Under who won. Rolling Sky came third.
