The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Banalité. Grinderman ended up behind the leader. Silkeborg got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Silkeborg started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Seductive Gentleman, Leader, Elaina, La Brabançonne, Gare Du Nord, Silkeborg, Robber Robert, Grinderman. A bird flew just in front of Seductive Gentleman who started to galop and lost 10 m.

La Brabançonne sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Grinderman accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Robber Robert gallopped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Gare Du Nord gallopped for 20 m.

Grinderman sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

La Brabançonne was first on the homestretch followed by Grinderman and Seductive Gentleman.

John Ö Jensen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Starshine Wonder started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Silkeborg sprinted over the finishline before Grinderman and Seductive Gentleman.
