It had been raining for several days at Tingsryd but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Quesnel was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. driver couldn't keep Volvoette to trotting so they were disqualified. This is the positions after 500m. Punching Boulder, Quesnel, Running Body, Silo Maj Cherry, Powerful Stone, Volvoette, , . The leader got disturbed by something and Quesnel took the lead rather easily. Running Body looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Quesnel seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Quesnel sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Silo Maj Cherry was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Running Body sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
