Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Färjestad track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Camavinga The Man found a gap and took the lead. Hoping Judge followed before Starstruck Velvet.




Criminal Yankee quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Criminal Yankee was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Criminal Yankee was still in the lead after 1500m.



Starstruck Velvet suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Starstruck Velvet didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
