The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Sørlandet this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Salami tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Jumping Wardrobe that came steaming ahead.




Skipping Necklace saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Crossing Star looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jumping Wardrobe couldn't come out from behind the leader, Skipping Necklace.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Skipping Necklace followed by Salami and Crossing Star. Lane two Jumping Wardrobe followed by Famous Crystal and .




Skipping Necklace kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Skipping Necklace looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Salami won. Famous Crystal came in second. Jumping Wardrobe caught third place.
