It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Gerben found a gap and took the lead. Trembling Rose followed before Happy Behemoth. This is the positions after 500m. Robin Kronos, Happy Behemoth, Gerben, Trembling Rose, Come After Me, , , . Happy Behemoth took the lead after 1000m. Trembling Rose didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Happy Behemoth followed by Gerben and Come After Me. Lane two Robin Kronos followed by Trembling Rose and . Happy Behemoth were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Robin Kronos galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Trembling Rose sprinted over the finishline before Gerben and Happy Behemoth. Results
