One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brown Fist could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Cnut, Jänkä-jussi, Brown Fist, Stopping Motor, Rutherford Hof, Singing Godiva, Blue Collar Guy, . Blue Collar Guy was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Cnut was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Rutherford Hof suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Blue Collar Guy was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Singing Godiva accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Cnut gallopped for 20 m.




Singing Godiva didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Singing Godiva sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
