The weather had been good all week and Visby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rational Bear could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Feuer In Mir showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Mortimer Cherry suddenly started to galop. Roger Malmqvist had to struggle to get Mortimer Cherry to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Mortimer Cherry looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wild Wild West couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rational Bear.




Rational Bear was still in the lead after 1500m.



Rational Bear sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Mortimer Cherry sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
