One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blasting Beast tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Growing Steel that came steaming ahead.




Growing Steel was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Aoume Wee Ameste who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Growing Steel today. It continued in the lead.




Growing Steel sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Growing Steel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Growing Steel today who won before Blasting Beast and Aoume Wee Ameste.
