One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Verde Smeraldo tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Giggling Fiesta that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Ivory Cake started to galop and lost 10 m.




Giggling Fiesta was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Verde Smeraldo was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Verde Smeraldo looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ivory Cake couldn't come out from behind the leader, Giggling Fiesta.




Giggling Fiesta was still in the lead after 1500m.



Giggling Fiesta sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Blossoming Lady, 2 Giggling Fiesta, 3 Verde Smeraldo.
