The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mon Ami sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Dove Elegance quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Mon Ami took the lead rather easily.




Mon Ami was still in the lead after 1500m. Dove Elegance started to gallop after 1500m and Markus Niklasson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Mon Ami were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Mon Ami. Bresset came in second. Dove Elegance became third.
